Sessions are typically 45 or 60 minutes long, depending on your child's individual needs. We also offer some 30-minute sessions when appropriate. The number of weekly sessions is also individualized, but most children attend 1-2 times per week.

The duration of speech therapy varies greatly, as it depends on many individual factors. These include your child’s specific needs, any coexisting diagnoses, how much progress is carried over at home, and the intensity of therapy sessions.
While it's difficult to estimate an exact timeframe, we believe in a collaborative approach. We will regularly assess your child’s progress, discuss their trajectory with you, and determine together when they have met their communication goals. Our aim is to empower your child with lasting communication skills.

Yes, it's very possible! School-based speech and language services have specific qualification criteria, often requiring a direct impact on a child's academic performance. This means that children with communication differences that are more mild, or those who are already performing at grade-level, may not meet the criteria for school-based therapy.
Private speech and language therapy offers greater flexibility. We can focus on your child's communication goals that will most directly enhance their participation and confidence in their everyday life, regardless of academic impact. We prioritize individualized support to meet their unique needs.

We are currently a private pay-only practice. This model allows us to deliver personalized services tailored to your specific needs, without the red tape of eligibility requirements, limitations on the amount of services, or other coverage restrictions often imposed by insurance companies.
While we are considered out-of-network with all insurance providers, we are happy to provide you with a superbill upon request. This document contains all the necessary codes and information for you to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. We strongly recommend contacting your insurance provider beforehand to confirm your out-of-network benefits and understand their specific reimbursement process.

We accept debit, credit, HSA, and FSA. Payment is due at the time of service.
